Molded Ultrafoam®: Our exclusive, molded, high-resilient, Ultrafoam® is produced in our own facility in Senatobia, MS. It is density controlled for years of superior service and treated with fire retardant chemicals. Ultrafoam® has a limited lifetime warranty when used in a single shift application.
Modified Tractor Seat: No more costly up charges for ergonomic performance. Edge chairs are standard with an ergonomically correct modified tractor seat with a waterfallseat front for all day comfort.
Inner and Outer Backs: Constructed of multi-contoured molded polypropylene the outer back has a highly resilient pebble texture and a unique ergonomic design shape. The inner back is molded polypropylene with built in fasteners inside the unit for a custom fit with the outer shell.
Internal Back Height Mechanism: This is a standard on allmodels. The ratchet mechanism allows for 2.5" travel up or downwith 7 locking positions. The ratchetallows the user the ability to adjust the back height while seated by simply lifting on the back. No more standing, bending or straining to adjust your chairs lumbar position.
Internal Seat: The internal seat is molded multi-contoured 9 ply 1/2" thick moldedplywood. The seat is standard with metal to metal fasteners installed to insure a superior metal to metal connection at all mechanism and arm attachment points.
Bases: Distinctive high profile composite bases provide design, versatility, and function without sacrificing integrity. All bases are structurally reinforced and are standard with 55mm reinforced heavy duty casters for years of service.
Cylinders: Class 4 heavy duty cylinders are standard on all Edge chairs. Class four cylinders hold loads in excess of 440 lbs.
Warranty: Chromcraft Furniture warrants to the original end user that their products will be free from defects in its materials and workmanship. Chromcraft will repair or replace, at its option, any Chromcraft product or component that is defective in workmanship or material as long as the original purchaser owns the product. Lifetime: All metal office seating, metal and wood combination seating, multiple seating, training tables, Chromcraft’s Molded Ultrafoam, control mechanisms, bases, casters, glides and pneumatic cylinders for products produced in their Mississippi factory. This warranty is for standard commercial use, which is considered to be a standard eight hour work day, five days per week. Twelve Years: Wood office seating, conference tables and bases are warranted for a period of 12 years of normal use against defects in craftsmanship or structural failure. Any 24/7 product is warranted for 10 years. Big and Tall seating is also warranted for 10 years. Fabric: Standard upholstery materials are guaranteed for 5 years against unusual wear provided it has not been abused and has been cared for properly. All Vinyl is covered for 3 years. Chromcraft is not responsible for slight differences in fabric color due to supplier dye lot differences. Warranty Excludes: Normal wear and tear are to be expected.
